A sieve filter is utilised to separate water from a pond by directing it over a curved sieve. The sieve is composed of numerous triangular sticks with a spacing of either 0.2 or 0.3 mm, also referred to as 200 or 300 microns. The sticks are slightly inclined, allowing finer particles to pass through while retaining coarser debris on the sieve. The filtered water then proceeds to the main filter for further treatment.
